Kevin J. Craig has served as Executive Vice President at GP Natural Resource Partners since September 2021. He was previously the Executive Vice President - Coal for GP Natural Resource Partners (NRP) LLC, a position he held since 2014. Additionally, Craig represents NRP as one of its appointees to the Board of Managers of Sicecam Wyoming LLC.
He joined NRP in 2005 from CSX Transportation in 2005. He brings extensive experience in marketing, finance and operations within the energy industry. From 2000 to 2015, he was a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, having been elected in 2000 and re-elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012. During his tenure, he served as Chairman of the Committee on Energy and the Committee on Natural Resources. He did not seek re-election in 2014, and his term ended in January 2015. Prior to his career at CSX, Craig served as a Captain in the United States Army.
Craig currently serves on West Virginia University’s Board of Governors, is a member of the Board of Directors of Encova Mutual Insurance Company, and the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s Board as Vice Chairman.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame in 1991 and earned a Master of Business Administration from Georgia Southern University in 1996.
